Professional Experience

Software Engineer II – Electronic Arts

Sep 2025 – Ongoing

Madden SE Generalist, Franchise · Switch 2, PS5, Xbox, PC

  • Built the Persona Engine in Madden 27, bringing life to stale player interactions and coach negotiations in Franchise’s biggest update
  • Shipped the data-driven systems the Persona Engine runs on, so designers author content without an engineer in the loop
  • Squashed 50+ bugs in 3 months on College Football Mobile, taking work off an overloaded team as its newest engineer
  • Reviewed code across both teams, unblocking engineers and keeping quality high while working asynchronously across time zones

Gameplay Engineer – High Moon Studios

Feb 2025 – Aug 2025

Rotational Engineer @ Activision Central Tech

  • Modernized the grapple gun for Black Ops 7, rebuilt off a dead engine for a new generation — one of the game’s most popular features
  • Made the grapple data-driven, so any developer could build a variant without touching code — now used across game modes
  • Delivered Shattered Veil for Black Ops 6 Zombies, clearing ~20% of the team’s bugs before launch — one of BO6’s best-received maps
  • Extended player movement with unique rappelling system, every parameter tunable so designers iterate in minutes instead of build cycles

Online Engineer – High Moon Studios

Aug 2024 – Feb 2025

Rotational Engineer @ Activision Central Tech

  • Built and owned a scalable, centralized query system in C++ that accesses game state, unlocking automation and testing
  • Developed the tool that banned cheaters breaking into unreleased Black Ops 6 maps, stopping content leaks before launch
  • Removed dependencies between large-scale multiplayer lobby and party code, improving performance on dedicated servers and clients
  • Automated query boilerplate with code generation, working with developers 12 hours out so any team could add their own
